Force 1 Construction has been serving the greater Kelowna for a very long time. We provide various drywall and related services for the commercial, industrial, institutional, and residential markets. We are seeking a self-motivated individual to fill our company’s full-time Drywall Installer position.

Primary Responsibilities- Drywall Installer

  • Measure the drywall panels 
  • Cut and fit drywall sheets for installation on walls and ceilings
  • Position and secure sheets to metal or wooden studs or joists
  • Cut and install metal corner beads to protect exterior corners
  • Install and fasten drywall panels to the inside framework of the building
  • Prepare panels for finishing by taping 
  • Prepare panels by sawing, drilling, or cutting holes in panels for electrical outlets, air-conditioning units, and plumbing.

Requirements:

  • Proven work experience in the Construction industry as a Drywall Installer 
  • Familiarity with various hand and power tools like screw guns, straightedges, and measuring tapes 
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations 
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills 
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks 
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills 
  • Ability to work collaboratively and independently 

Trade certification is an asset but not compulsory.
